Hi, I’m Eli! I’m energetic, compassionate, and resilient. My early life started in foster care before being adopted at 8½ by my adoptive family. That experience really shaped who I am—it taught me the importance of connection, empathy, and the power of second chances.

I would say I’m very much a family-oriented person. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my older sisters and cousins. During almost every holiday, when the whole family got together, we would break out several decks of cards and play games against each other. My immediate family members have always enjoyed having dinner together and going on family vacations as a group.

Over the years, we’ve built a home filled with love, laughter, and a lot of heart. After living in different parts of the greater Kansas City area – namely a small one-bedroom apartment, followed by a townhouse – we finally settled into our current home in a suburban town. It’s a spacious, welcoming house with plenty of room to grow our family and dream big for the future.

Family has always played an important role in our lives. Between the two of us, we’re very lucky to have such a strong sense of family and support nearby, as well as spread out throughout the country.

Eli maintains close relationships with both his adoptive and biological families. His biological family all lives in town, and they often get together for dinners, birthdays, and casual visits. We both love to travel and have made it a point to explore new places together, from cruises and comedy clubs to Bahamas, France, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Each trip becomes a story we retell, and we dream of future vacations with a little one in tow – just this time with matching family T-shirts!
